I’m more than a designer, I am a communicator, problem solver, punch-line deliverer and sense maker.
In the ten years I’ve been lucky enough to earn a crust doing this I’ve worked with a variety of clients, including big names, public sector and exciting young start-ups. And on projects ranging from branding to magazines, adverts to exhibitions. Bringing my own brand of creative insights, nerdy design tendencies and can do attitude to every project, no matter how big or small.
I’m good at working things out, good at researching what I don’t know and I ask questions a lot. I sing to the radio and talk to myself – or the computer depending on how it’s behaving, and I enjoy getting stuck into some serious typesetting almost as much as I enjoy working with the other creative brains on a team project
Like most creatives I don’t switch off at hometime, in fact I rarely switch off at all! Illustration, printmaking, photography, blogging and trawling junk shops for my next crafty project all keep me busy out of hours and often feed back into what happens in the studio.
