Honda Racing powered by Yuasa

Hype, speculation, excitement… the wait is almost over for the start of the 2010 British Touring Car Championship with the first of this 10-race action-fest kicking off at Thruxton on 4th April. This year we have a special interest in arguably the most exciting form of motorsport, with the sponsorship of Honda Racing’s two cars by Yuasa.

Returning to his family run team where he took the 2005/6 titles, Matt Neal will take the first drive, and he will be partnered by Gordon ‘Flash’ Shedden – a reunion of the drivers who last competed together for Honda in 2007.

The two cars are to run in an all white livery to promote the Japanese marques latest UK road car launch; the Civic Type-R Mugen 200. Purple Frog have assisted with the development of the sponsorship livery and look forward to all the close up in-car camera shots following the tail gate of Matt Neal.

You too can keep up with all the action with live coverage on Sunday afternoons on ITV4. See full TV Schedule.

To whet the appetite, here are highlights from last year’s championship.
