
The third annual Oldie Travel Awards were held on the 19th November at the East India Club. These were sponsored by Tresco Island a Purple Frog Client and the results were announced by The Oldie travel editor Rosie Boycott who also gave an overview of the Island and how much she loved it when she stayed there recently.

The evening was very enjoyable and all the winners were proud to have received their awards and expressed their thanks to both the Oldie and Tresco. Mike Nelhams the Curator of Tresco Abbey Gardens presented the best Travel Writer Award to William Blacker for his inspiring book long the Enchanted Way: A Romanian Story.
